Tween Traffic Safety

Research

For years, traffic safety advocates have been unearthing insights about protecting younger children and teenagers. Now, new attention is being given to the in-between groups – the 8- to 12-year-old set known as tweens.

As new research is released, tweensafety.org will post links below.  Take a look and find out what might be helpful for your program.

Other Research

Also useful are more general traffic safety information, various evaluation guides and reports on tween research done for other reasons, such as a study of tweens done to inform a nutrition and activity program by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
